Cake Gallery - Wedding

From my first meeting with you, I knew you would be the one to make my daughters wedding cake. When looking through your beautiful book of cake designs I knew which cake my daughter would choose, she chose your simplest most elegant cake, I thought.

Your baking skills are outstanding, each layer couldn't be better than the other. The Ganache, was a hit with our guest but the Mocca was my personal favorite.

The artistry of your design was phenomenal. Our guest all complimented on the fondant. When I told them it wasn't, they were surprised.

Fatema, you went above and beyond when the flowers didn't happen( I am so sorry for that). You were very creative, improvised and made it look absolutely beautiful.

You are a true professional and I couldn't be more pleased. Thank you for your talent, hard work and dedication to make my Daughters Wedding day a special one.

I found you on the internet and I took a chance on ordering your cake from the beautiful cake gallery and the customer appreciation comments from your website and I was not disappointed at all. We had NO personal recommendations we just stepped out on faith and we were overwhelmed by how delicious your cake turned out to be. The design of the little girls dress was absolutely beautiful and what was even more surprising was the AMAZING TASTE! Everyone at the shower raved at the beauty and the taste of your masterpiece. There was well over a hundred people at the shower and everyone had a piece especially after they heard the comments about the exquisite taste. We even had a little leftover and were upset that there wasn't more for us to take home to enjoy!! Trust me you will have many folks heading to Livermore for your cakes--I know I'm heading back!!

The wedding cake was very unique and beautiful. It tasted as good as it looked. There were many raves about it and everyone wanted to know who the bakery was. Even the minister wanted to know so the church coordinators could pass on the information to the future brides.

Thank you very much for doing such a great job on the cake. My Nephew Greg had turned 21 and your cake was a very special addition to the celebration. Not only was it decorated perfectly, but the cake itself was the best we have ever tasted. He could not get enough of it. The Cannoli filling with the chocolate chips was wonderful. We ordered the Chocolate Ganache and Raspberry mousse. Everyone loved the cake and I received so many compliments on the decoration.

Several people inquired about the bakery. I would highly recommend Cake Delight to anyone!

We had many compliments on the variety of cake flovors that were chosen - Chocolate mint mousse with Chocolate cake - White cake with Raspberry mousse and Lemon cake with Lemon mousse. Frosting was creamy without being buttery and all variation of cakes were very very moist. All three layers were a huge success.

I just wanted to let you know that our extra wedding cake won't last until the first anniversary! I've been devouring it little by little since the wedding.

The marble cake was amazing and all of our guests commented (between delicious bites) that the cake was wonderful.

After suffering through a miserable tasting elsewhere, finding you was a blessing. My new husband and I look forward to ordering a new cake next year to celebrate our first year together.

Do you know what perfection tastes like?? Well from previous experience, I thought I knew what good cake tasted like. Maybe like any average person would think. We've probably all had birthday, shower, or another special occasion cake, but all pretty much the same. Same components, same look and feel. But all in all, we know what cake tastes like right??? WRONG!!! I've been misled all these years thinking that I knew what cake tasted like!!! Now that you have an idea of where I going with this, I can now tell you about how I came to this epiphany,.

Well I am a newlywed. Average person. I work a regular 8 to 5-er, and pretty well balanced with a very open mind. Oddly enough right before my husband asked me to marry him, I thought I already knew who I was going to have design my cake for my big day. I happened to be watching food network and they were hosted a Halloween cake battle where the top cake designers were battling each other for the best Halloween-themed cake. Now, the competition had competitors from all over the United States, from all different backgrounds, with expertise in all different styles and techniques. The cake that *took the cake* (I made a funny), was the creation of a Bay Area native who had a shop in a very familiar city to me. I couldn't believe it. I was just kidding with my sister while we watched the competition, saying that I wanted that particular cake designer to do my cake. A week later on October 29, 2005, my husband asked me to marry him. At that point I knew for sure who was going to do my cake. I was wrong again. One very important thing about being a bride and trying to plan your perfect day, the vendors that you choose are playing a very important part in making this day special, so choosing the right vendor will make a huge difference. I'm not a wedding coordinator or really had any idea about what it takes to plan a wedding, but I was sure going to find out. In my case I thought I did the research, made an appointment, and thought I was on my way to the perfect wedding cake. Unfortunately, I was not pleased with the way things went with this cake designer. I walked in really excited to be working with someone who has just accomplished something as astonishing as she did, but the feelings weren't mutual. When it was time to go over what it was that I was looking for and what I wanted, I was not a priority. I was treated like I was a waste of time and that this was just any other occasion. I wasn't treated like a potential customer, especially a bride-to-be looking to invests a good amount of money for just a cake. At that, the cakes were just mediocre. They weren't spectacular or anything. I was very disappointed in my experience as well as the product that she was expecting me to pay for with the attitude of some hotshot who has no compassion for her clients. Well I was so glad that was over. Then I was back to the drawing board, until I spoke to my florist about my cake dilemma.

That's when I was introduced to the taste and the face of perfection. I was referred to Fatima of Cake Delight in Livermore, Ca, by a near by vendor. Obviously I can see why. From my first appointment with her I knew I found the perfect cake designer. She was so warm and welcoming and very accommodating. That was so important to me, being very new to the wedding world and had no idea what I was doing. She explained the whole process and made sure I knew that this was an important event, so everything has to be perfect. She was very understanding to my needs and didn't treat me like she was doing me a favor. Just talking to her made me feel at ease.

Then it was time for the cake tasting. Now that was *the icing on the cake* (ha, I made another funny! You better stop me, I can go all night!). I have never tasted cake so well balanced with the sweetness and the texture, and the buttercream, there's no words to describe the mastery of this very common frosting. Sometime buttercream can be very tricky, but as mentioned, Fatima has mastered it to an impeccable degree. She has perfected the filet mignon of buttercream. Incredible!! Not to mention that she personally concocted a mango mousse especially for our wedding. My cake was like no other cake I have every tasted. Not only did it taste incredible, but it was absolutely beautiful! This creation of white cake, mango and strawberry mousse, and this deadly delicious coating of buttercream had my guest raving about it all night. As a matter of fact, they are still raving about it!

This woman is amazing in her creations and her love for what she does. She is very meticulous, and a perfectionist, in which it shows in the quality of her creations. She is definitely a gift to the Bay Area wedding industry and I always rave about her work to anyone who will listen. In making the choice for a perfect wedding cake, she went above and beyond what I was looking for. We will always be forever thankful for her hard word and unprecedented efforts in making our day so special.
