Here we have one of our lovely, little cakes we made for a Sunday wedding a couple of weeks ago. It’s proof that it is still very possible to have a beautiful wedding cake with two tiers, especially when topped with bunches of fresh flowers and adorned with fondant ribbon. The bride provided the broaches, and they were just the right touch to complete the cake.

Autumn weddings come with their own gorgeous color scheme. Here are some we’ve done in the past, two of which were within a day of each other at the same venue! The cakes on the right and left were both at Crooked Vine Winery at the beginning of the month. The branches on the right-most cake are made of chocolate ganache, delicately piped onto the butter cream, while the left-most cake is garnished with an adorable collection of fondant pumpkins to go along with the leaves.

We tried our hand at a new design to decorate the top of this lovely, four tier cake for a Friday wedding at Casa Real. The ruffles seamlessly blossom into a rose right in the center, accented with precise sugar pearl beading and a rhinestone ribbon wrapped around the base of each tier for some added sparkle.

He or she? One of the most exciting questions for expecting mothers and their families. Imagine cutting into a cake to discover you’ll be blessed with your new son or daughter via vivid pink or baby blue colored cake, and sharing that moment with friends and family. You’ll probably be expected to share the cake too, but that’s your choice. Gender reveal cakes are certainly growing in popularity, and why not? There’s a special surprise inside every cake!

While it may only be Tuesday, that doesn’t mean we can’t take some time to have a little fun, right? These video game themed cakes are sure to have your fun quota overflowing. You can’t go wrong with the classic Pac-Man and Mario games. Minecraft themed cakes have also been in high demand as of late. Yep, that’s definitely a creeper hanging out on that Xbox cake right there. Watch out for him, and be careful that he doesn’t blow up, because he’ll be taking that delicious cake with him.

We went all out for a wedding at The Bridges Golf Club in the Garden Pavilion two weeks ago. Our off-center, three tier, square cake was paired with a delicious spread of dessert bar items to appeal to all manner of guests. Take your pick of almond cookies and cheesecake bites, or chocolate-dipped Oreos on sticks and orange mousse shot glasses, there’s a little something sweet for everyone.

A dream is a wish your heart makes… and a cake is a wish your taste buds make! From Cinderella to Snow White, with a trip down a little rabbit hole along the way, these cakes have that spark of Disney magic that are sure to delight princesses of all ages.

Check out one of our cute cupcake towers, dressed up with a 6″ Tiffany box cake on top. With its fondant white ribbon and bow, it adds a classy air to this decorative tower. The buttercream swirls atop the cupcakes match the color of the cake perfectly, topped off with little, white, sugar pearls of their own.
